Maybe it's your grandmother making her famous jelly, pie or pierogis, maybe its wood-crafting, prolific card playing, guitar, hunting, chess, gardening, foraging or angling. Whatever the craft, and whoever the subject, I have a love of capturing hands (and people) flowing with a craft that they have long loved. So often our histories and nostalgia are tied up in small, ritualistic, deeply personal pursuits. These are significant, artful stories, they are a part of our history, and they are worth telling.
